The chalets are located on Lake Lugano. The Lago di Lugano is located between Lake Como and Lake Maggiore and is the smallest of the three major lakes in the area.
The lake is good for a day to drive around by car. Gandria, Morcote and Bissone are some of the many picturesque lakeside lakes.
From Porlezza you can take a boat trip and visit the lakeside places.

Porlezza is a picturesque Italian tourist town (4300 inhabitants) and attracts many holidaymakers annually. It is beautifully situated in a point of Lake Lugano, surrounded by the slopes of the valleys of Menaggio, Cavargna, Intelvi and Valsolda. Not only the stunning nature with its many possibilities to attract it but also the Mediterranean climate (over 2200 hours of sunshine a year) plays an important role in the area’s appeal. From the campsite you can walk to Porlezza to enjoy the nice alleys, restaurants, terraces or just stroll across the boulevard.
